Directions: grab a 9X12 white watercolor paper. Use the provided template to draw out the 3 different watercolor excises.
When you are done, take a picture of your practice and submit into Canvas
Create two thumbnails sketches of your perceptive project on printer paper
Things to think/ figure for each thumbnail sketch before final approval:
vertical or horizontal?
border or no border?
if you have a border, what does that look like to you? plain white? colored? Double bordered? Designed?
reference photo/s? (must be your own photos. Take a bunch and have a variety).
will it be a collage of perspectives or will it be one image?
testing of the techniques/styles you are inspired by(refer back to your research)?
Once you think you are done with your planning your artwork, get your idea approved by Ms. Ibrahim to get started
Work on your project. Use the class time effectively. Watercolors take a long time due to the drying time between layers so try to keep a steady pace as your work. When you are done, turn in your project with the rubric to Ms. Ibrahim for grading.
