Open Sci Ed Educator 2-Day Professional Development

Learn about a curricular resource that allows students to approach the new PA STEELS Standards. Are you ready to learn OpenSciEd Middle School Units? Join us! Learn and teach in 3 dimensions! You'll leave with everything you need to get started, including a comprehensive understanding of the curriculum and how to implement it in your classroom. Learn about the tools and professional learning needed to help you make OpenSciEd come alive in your classroom or school district. In this 2-day training, educators will experience the curricular approach the same way your future students will with a focus on teaching and learning driven by students making sense of phenomena and developing solutions to problems. By the end of the experience, you will be prepared to utilize this curricular resource on your own, with confidence and expertise. Act 48 hours will be awarded for completion of both days of PD Important Details: 

- This is a 2-day experience. Participants should plan to attend both dates to complete their professional development 

- Lunch will be provided both days 

-Act 48 hours will be available for participants. Please share your PPID when registering if you desire Act 48 hours.
