Assessments are changing profoundly with the transition to STEELS Standards. Check out how!
NEW Offerings!
May 13, 2025
Shifting classroom practice to the new PA STEELS Standards is a marathon, not a sprint. Assessing student work in 3 dimensions is a crucial part of that shift.
Participants will take a deep dive into assessment in 3 dimensions by surfacing what STEELS aligned assessments can look like, evaluating 3 dimensional assessment questions and looking at student work samples in order to drive instruction.
Open to K-12 educators, administrators, academic coaches, STEM coordinators and curriculum coordinators, this day will give participants a clear idea of how approaches to teaching and learning science are shifting, as well as develop an appreciation for the shifts in assessment it will bring to the classroom.
Session runs 8:30am-3:00pm at the NEIU STEM Center 1200 Line Street Archbald, PA 18403
Lunch will be provided.
Please bring a laptop and/or tablet to access online resources.
Audience: Educators, Administrators, Academic Coaches, STEM Coordinators, Curriculum Coordinators and Principals
