State Assessment Online Testing Discussion
Online testing beginning with Spring 2026 administration
Only paper test for braille and large print accommodations; everyone else will be online!
2025 - something to consider - give all science assessments online during spring administration as they do not count for proficient scores because they are a field test, BUT they do count for participation scores - Waiver only for science score and NOT for participation
Firefly Benchmark Online Pilot between November - February
Suggest waiting until January-February to have students log into this assessment
Can only take FireFly assessment one time
If your district or school is interested in participating in the Firefly Benchmark, please complete the following form https://forms.office.com/g/3pdxKyRN98. Please direct questions to Dr. Megan Clementi at mclementi@pa.gov.

Large districts have 2 years to comply (community census of 50,000 or more)
Smaller districts have 3 years to comply (community census of less than 50,000)
If you embed videos into your LMS then you are responsible; if you link out to another source or site, then this does not apply
Please make sure you have text for all images and closed caption for all videos for items in your LMS
