Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo and Conference (PETE&C) is now accepting nominations for our prestigious Dream Awards, honoring exceptional contributors in the field of educational technology. This is your chance to recognize and celebrate the remarkable achievements of individuals making a significant impact in our community.
Award Categories:
Technology Student of the Year:
Open to students in grades 6-12 doing unique or outstanding work promoting or participating in educational technology endeavors.
Application requirements: Educational background, noteworthy achievements, two recommendations, school transcripts, and an essay.
Technology Innovator of the Year:
Open to individuals doing unique or outstanding work in innovating in educational technology.
Application requirements: Educational and innovative background, noteworthy achievements, two recommendations, a résumé or CV, and an essay.
Technology Administrator of the Year:
Open to administrators encouraging or facilitating innovation and/or leadership in using technology within school entities.
Application requirements: Educational background, noteworthy technology innovation and/or leadership achievements, two recommendations, a résumé or CV, and an essay.
Nomination Process: We encourage you to nominate someone deserving or consider self-nominating by November 1, 2024. To submit a nomination, please complete the application form and provide supporting documents.
Why Nominate? Recognizing the efforts of outstanding individuals not only honors their hard work but inspires others to strive for excellence in educational technology. There is an award for everyone at PETE&C, and your nomination can make a difference!

Digital Accessibility Updates
State and local governments, including public schools, must ensure that their websites and mobile applications comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.
The deadline for compliance with these new guidelines is either April 24, 2026, or April 26, 2027, depending on the population size of the state or local government entity.
The rule encompasses digital course content that may be published on a school’s website or internally-accessible webpage
