Sept 19 Read Jones’ “Violent Media is Good for Kids." Discuss first short essay.

Sept 26 Peer review for second essay.

Oct 3 Logic day.

Oct 10 Read Sophocles’ Antigone. Start group chart.

Oct 24 Finish the comparison chart and do research for essay. Grammar work as well. 

Oct 26 Peer review for the third essay.

Nov 23. No Class. Thanksgiving Break.

Nov 30 Discuss writing under pressure.  In-class writing assignment. 

Week 16

Dec 5 Final Essay Due.
