One of my short-term goals after graduation is to find a job that helps me get my foot in the door and start gaining hands-on experience in the healthcare field. I see it as a stepping stone a chance to apply what I’ve learned, build my skills, and get a feel for the type of work I truly enjoy. I also plan to focus on networking, both within the workplace and through outside events or professional organizations. Building connections and learning from others in the field will help me better understand the different paths I can take and guide me as I figure out what I want to pursue long-term in my career.
In 5 to 10 years, I see myself confidently walking in my purpose, with a clear career path and a strong sense of direction in the healthcare field. By then, I hope to be in a position where I'm making a meaningful impact not just through the work I do behind the scenes, but in the lives of the people and communities I serve. One of my longer-term goals is to be in a leadership or advocacy role where I can influence real change in healthcare accessibility, health literacy, and patient experiences. I want to continue growing both professionally and personally, whether that means earning a master’s degree, managing healthcare programs, or launching community outreach initiatives. Whatever the path looks like, I know I want to use my knowledge and voice to help others feel seen, supported, and empowered when it comes to their health.
