IU Indianapolis Campus Health provides a variety of medical services for students and staff, including wellness screening, immunizations, tuberculosis testing, women’s health, and sexual health services. Not only does this organization provide a wide range of services that accept many major health insurance providers, but it also offers financial assistance for patients in need and free services like STD testing, pregnancy testing, and birth control options. The target market of this plan is the incoming female freshmen class to Indiana University, with the goal being increased brand awareness for these students and the university as a whole. Additional goals include increased patient satisfaction and retention throughout the span of their academic years for needed primary and secondary health services.
The outreach to this population includes common social media sites (Instagram, TikTok, etc.), campus workshops, and monthly free clinic events on the first Saturday to introduce students to this organization outside of normal clinic hours. The effectiveness of all these actions will be measured through tools such as surveys with a focus on factors such as patient satisfaction, patient retention rate, return on investment (ROI), target market interaction, and brand awareness. The expected outcome of this plan is to increase healthcare access to this community, providing a local relief to students’ numerous responsibilities so that they can focus on their experiences as an Indiana University Jaguar.
