About Me

My name is Haneen. I was born and raised in Jordan until my family and I immigrated to the United States back in 2012. Because of living in two different environments, and interacting with different people; I've become very curious in terms of learning more about our mind. I am curious about how different and diverse people can be in the way they live and interact with other people.

Why Psychology?

My love for the field of Psychology started in high school. During my sophomore year of high school, my counselor suggested to me that I should take a Psychology class. Sadly, I had no idea what psychology was, but the more she talked about it the more I fell in love with it. The high school and college systems are very different overseas so I had no idea that my high school offered a class like psychology. As soon as I got home that day, I looked it up but more specifically mental disorders. I found myself very fascinated about learning those disorders.  I most importantly, liked learning about how the different disorders effect an individual or a group of people.

My strengths as a team member

As a team member I am Honest, an active listener, communicative, creative, reliable, and focus on intrinsic motivations in any task to do the best I can on it.

When working with others, I like to be on the same page as everyone and let everyone know what I'm doing. I listen to any concerns and try to find a solution along with other group members. Lastly, I like being creative in my workplace.
