I like that it gives such an easy way to get to know a lot about so many students! I teach an asynchronous ePortfolio course and the ePortfolio does so much of the work of humanizing and personalizing each student.

I am excited to use e-porfolios to help my students begin seeing the different parts of themselves and putting it out there for others to see! I am also excited to connect with content. Yes - also at SGU we held events to enable faculty to develop their professional portfolios and to get feedback and input from their colleagues.Β It was a great way to share ideas and see the good work being undertaken by their colleagues.

Just given that ours is very much situated as a culminating event at the end of the year, not for IUPUI. However, I could see a Showcase being put together for that reason. I feel it would provide maybe more extinct "reward" for students.

I think with ePortfolios generally, showing and sharing is so important, especially if youβre trying to recruit more people to use them. Just talking about them doesnβt get you very far, but showing and discussion of what youβre sharing gets people really excited and inspired.
