WHo am i?
I am from Columbus, Indiana, and will graduate in May 2026 with a degree in Finance. As I’ve grown both academically and professionally, I’ve explored my interests within the business world and developed a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and business operations. Through my coursework and hands-on experience at Rightway Fasteners, where I work in the Accounting department, I have applied key concepts such as invoice reconciliation, income statement analysis, and month-end reporting in a professional setting. This experience has strengthened my analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills while deepening my understanding of how financial processes support overall business performance.

Throughout my education, I have consistently gravitated toward mathematics, finding both enjoyment and a strong understanding of quantitative concepts compared to other subject areas. Alongside this, I have always had a natural aptitude for technology, which has translated into strong Excel and data-handling skills. These interests led me to pursue a path in finance and accounting, fields that value both analytical thinking and technical precision. As I progressed through my degree, accounting, finance, and data-driven reporting became clear areas of interest. My role at Rightway Fasteners has allowed me to explore these interests in a professional setting, strengthening my understanding of accounting processes while further developing my Excel-based analysis and reporting skills.
