Overview:
I presented along with my co-worker at the annual IEL Conference. We presented our Jag Action Workshop presentation, but made it more interactive. The students that came to our break out session were organization and club leaders looking for funding for their projects. We were able to provide them critics and help on possible pitches.
Role and Responsibilities:
I was responsible for working with my co-worker to prepare and present a presentation to a group of students attending the IEL conference.
Skills Demonstrated:
Adaptability because we had to make the presentation more interactive than previously used. Leadership and presentation skills. Teamwork and commitment.
Campus Community Impact:
By presenting at this conference I was representing the Civic Activators and our work with the Grant. I was able to receive feedback from attendees saying that after attending the workshop they felt confident in applying for the JAG Action Grant for their respective organizations.
