ePortfolio to Elevator Pitch
As a Senior Ambassador for the Life-Health Sciences Internship Program. My project, ‘ePortfolio to Elevator Pitch,’ helps interns turn their LHSI reflections into confident, professional storytelling. I designed workshops and peer-pitch sessions that teach interns how to communicate their experiences in interviews, personal statements, and networking conversations.
Through this project, I aim to empower students to see the real-world value of their internship experiences, helping them connect reflection to readiness. It’s also helped me grow as a mentor and leader, building skills in communication and program development that I’ll carry forward in my future career as a Physician Assistant.
The Proposal
My Senior Ambassador project, “ePortfolio to Elevator Pitch,” focuses on helping LHSI interns bridge the gap between reflection and real-world application. Many interns struggle to express the value of their experiences during interviews, networking, or professional writing. This project reframes the ePortfolio as a practical storytelling tool that helps interns confidently communicate their skills, growth, and accomplishments.
The project is structured in three main phases: development, implementation, and evaluation.

Workshops
The workshop activities aim to help students understand their skills for application later on in the semester. Being able to narrow down the work allows students to approach the Elevator Pitch in a different perspective.
