Day 5

Students worked in small groups to read about the characteristics different pollinators are attracted to different flowers. 

Once they agreed, they joined with another group who had different answers. Students realized there was more than one answer. 

Students picked a pollinator to decorate and place on a flower that is would visit in real life!

Students shared why their pollinator visited a flower. 

We dissected a real flower and examined it parts!

Look! This is a filament and anther - parts of the stamen!

Next, we simulated how a pollinator spreads pollen from one flower to the next!

Some pollinators can pollinate a lot more flowers than others!
