AWS WAF inspects incoming traffic before it allows it into the rest of our environment, acting as the deciding factor to entry into the environment.

In this architecture, auto scaling is a last line of defense.

Each of these AWS services, depending on the attacks, catches attacks and block them before they invade your architecture.
