Amazon Managed Blockchain is a fully managed service that makes it easy to join public networks or create and manage scalable private networks using the popular open-source frameworks Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum.
Blockchain makes it possible to build applications where multiple parties can execute transactions without the need for a trusted, central authority.
Automatically scales to meet the demands of thousands of applications running millions of transactions.
Managed Blockchain makes it easy to manage and maintain your blockchain network.
It manages your certificates and lets you easily invite new members to join the network.
Get started with Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum using Amazon Managed Blockchain.
When Amazon Managed Blockchain is set up, there is an initial member in the AWS account.
New members can be added to your own account without sending an invitation to yourself.
Then new members can be added to this AWS account by sending an invitation or a network invitation can be created for a member in a different AWS account.
Reduced complexity: AMB eliminates the need to manage the underlying infrastructure for blockchain networks. You can focus on developing your applications without worrying about server setup, security, or ongoing maintenance.
Choice of blockchains: AMB provides access to popular public blockchains like Ethereum and Bitcoin, allowing you to leverage existing ecosystems for specific use cases.
Private blockchain networks: AMB allows you to easily create and manage your own private blockchain networks using the Hyperledger Fabric framework. This is ideal for scenarios requiring more control and privacy over the network.
Scalability: AMB scales to meet your needs. You can easily add or remove resources as your network grows.
Security: AWS manages the security of the underlying infrastructure, and you can configure access controls for your private networks.
AMB consists of two main components:
AMB Access: This service provides access to public blockchains like Ethereum and Bitcoin. You can connect your applications to these networks using serverless calls or APIs to interact with the blockchain and read or write data.
AMB for Hyperledger Fabric: This service allows you to create and manage private blockchain networks based on the Hyperledger Fabric framework. You have more control over the network configuration and membership compared to public blockchains.
