Alumni

Avnish Singh Pal

Avnish graduated with Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in January 2023. His research work involves nanoarchitectonics of self-assembled chessboard-like structures in multicomponent oxides for nanoelectronics and energy applications. Avnish is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow in Prof. Christian Kuebel's group at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany.

Ankit Singh

Ankit graduated with his Ph.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in November 2022. He was a joint student with me and Prof. R. K. Mandal. Ankit's research work involved electron microscopy of interfaces and defects in AuCu multilayer, lithium nickel manganese oxide thin films on single-crystal SrTiO3 and bulk amorphous steels. Ankit is currently a Post Doctoral Fellow at National Institute for Materials Science, Tsukuba, Japan.

Sandeep Pradeepkumar Maurya

Sandeep graduated with his Ph.D. in Ceramic Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi in December 2022. He was a joint student with me and Dr. Imteyaz Ahmad. Sandeep's research work involved synthesis, structural and functional characterization of CIGS based solar cells. During his Ph. D. he has made a working CIGS based thin film solar cell. Sandeep is currently at the International Liberian Nanotechnology Institute, Braga, Portugal as a Research Scientist.
