Sai Saswat will be awarded his I.D.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2024. He joined our group in January 2021 for his exploratory project on "The effect of Additive Manufacturing Process Parameters on the microstructure of Ti-6Al-4V superalloy". He carried out his B.Tech. project on "Synthesis and characterization of multi-component Magnesium and Iron-based spinel". Presently, he is working on "Synthesis and characterization of multi-component Ca and La based Ruddlesden Popper phase", as a part of his M.Tech. thesis.

He will be joining KIT, Germany for his 2023 summer internship under the DAAD-WISE scholarship programme.

Rajdeep will be awarded his I.D.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2025. He joined our group in 2022 for his B.Tech. project on "Synthesis and Characterisation of High Entropy Oxides for potential water splitting applications".

He will be spending his 2023 summer at DMRL, Hyderabad for his internship under TRAERF Student Summer Internship 2023 Award.

Lathaa will be awarded her I.D.D. degree in Ceramic Engineering in 2025. She joined our group in 2022 for her B.Tech. project on "Study on the structural and electromagnetic properties of Co-substituted (Ni 0.5 Mg 0.5) Fe2O4". Her project is co-advised by Dr. Pradip Kumar Roy from the Department of Ceramic Engineering, IIT (BHU), Varanasi.

Hari will be awarded his M.Tech. degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2023. He joined our group in 2022 for his M.Tech. thesis on "Instrumented Indentation studies on Inconel 625 produced by Laser Directed-Energy Deposition".

Hari will be awarded his I.D.D. degree in Metallurgical Engineering in 2023. He joined our group in 2022 for his M.Tech. thesis on "Synthesis and structural characterization of multi-component perovskites".

Gulzareen joined our group in 2020 for her M.Tech. thesis. Her thesis is titled "Electron Microscopy, Microstructure Evolution and Phase Stability of Ti-18.5Nb-14Zr alloy". Her thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and she was awarded her M.Tech. degree in 2022.

She is presently working at Veolia Water Technologies and Solutions (previously, Suez Water Technologies and Solutions) as a Post Graduate Trainee.

Snehita joined our group in 2021 for her M.Tech. thesis. Her thesis is titled "Sol-Gel Synthesis and Structural Characterization of Calcium Manganate Ruddlesden-Popper Phase". Her thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and she was awarded her I.D.D. degree in 2022. 

She is presently working at Applied Materials as an Application Engineer.

Prakhar joined our group in 2021 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "XRD Simulation of Ruddlesden-Popper Phase Compound". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2022.

He will be joining University of Warwick for MBA.

Vedant joined our group in 2020 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Analysis of Glass Phase Formation in Binary and Ternary Alloys Through Miedema’s Model". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2021. 

Piyush joined our group in 2019 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Investigation of Phase Stability of High Entropy Alloys Based Thermal Barrier Coating for Aerospace Application". His thesis was co-supervised by Prof. R. K. Mandal and submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2021.

He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. at IISc, Bangalore, India.

Sahithi joined our group in 2019 for her M.Tech. thesis. Her thesis is titled "A review of Phase Evolution in Additively Manufactured Alloys for Aerospace Application". Her thesis was co-supervised with Prof. R. K. Mandal and submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. She was awarded her M.Tech. degree in 2021.

She is presently working on her Ph.D. at IIT Madras, India.

Shivam joined our group in 2019 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Impression Creep Analysis of Welded P91 Steel Joint Employing Finite Element Method". His thesis was co-supervised by Dr. Surya Deo Yadav and submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2021. 

He is presently working on his Ph.D. at IIT Roorkee, India.

Shivank joined our group in 2018 for his B.Tech. project, which was on "First-principle calculations and quantitative imaging of vanadium-oxygen solid solutions" in collaboration with Dr. Satyesh Yadav, IIT Madras. His M.Tech. thesis is titled "Investigating the Effect of Interstitial Impurities on Vanadium, Chromium, Titanium Using First Principle Calculation". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2020. 

He is presently working on his Ph.D. at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA with Prof. R. Rampi.

Anand joined our group in 2019 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Synthesis and Consolidation of Pure and Doped Bismuth Ferrite". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2021. 

He is presently working at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd, Visakhapatnam, India.

Abhishek joined our group in 2018 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Microstructure Evolution in Transition Metal Oxide Based Ceramic System for Nano-electronic Device Application". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2020. 

He is presently working on his Ph.D. at IIT Madras, India.

Subhradeep joined our group in 2018 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Electron Microscopy of B2 and DO3 Ordered Phases in FeAl System". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2020. 

Gaurav joined our group in 2017 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Determination of Structure and Ordering in Ni58Mn42 Alloy Through Transmission Electron Microscopy". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2019. 

He is presently working at Axtria.

Shashank joined our group in 2017 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Nano-chessboard Self-assembly in Spinel Type ZnMnGaO4 Ceramic System for Magnetic and Thermoelectric Applications". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2019. 

He is presently working at 

Shiv Shankar joined our group in 2018 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Microstructure Evolution and Characterization of 12% Cr Alloy Steels". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2019. 

He is presently working at 

Mohan joined our group in 2017 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Development and Structural Characterization of Bi-Mn-O Compound". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2019. 

He is presently working at Eaton as a Senior Engineer.

Chayon joined our group in 2017 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Synthesis and characterization of solidification microstructures in V-Ta and V-Ti-Ta alloys". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2018. 

He is presently working at Edelweiss Alternatives as Investment Operations Associate, after pursuing MBA from IIM Calcutta.

Ankur joined our group in 2016 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Synthesis and structural characterization of BiMO3 (M= Fe, Cr, Mn) multiferroic materials". His thesis was co-advised by Dr. N. K. Prasad and submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2017.

He is presently working at National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur.

Piyush joined our group in 2016 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Surface engineering: modification of surface morphology by severe plastic deformation and surface coating". His thesis was co-advised with Dr. K. Chattopadhyay and submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi. He was awarded his M.Tech. degree in 2017. 

He is presently working on his Ph.D. in Crozier Research Group at Arizona State University, USA.

Anantha joined our group in 2016 for his M.Tech. thesis. His thesis is titled "Alloy design, microstructure and phase evolution in V-Ta and V-Ti-Ta alloys". His thesis was submitted to Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, and he was awarded his I.D.D. degree in 2017.

He is presently working at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, India as a Scientific Officer.
