Library

Both the Primary and Secondary libraries are educational and cultural environments where individuals are exposed to ideas through the use of print and non-print resources. They foster the development of life-long learning abilities in information retrieval and a love of reading. The libraries offer resources to support and enhance learning requirements, as well as to provide their own programmes for teaching information literacy skills and literary appreciation. The students are expected to develop into independent and responsible library users. Secondary students may borrow school laptops for work while in school. Please note that should your child lose or break the school equipment, the depreciated cost for replacement will be charged to your family.

Primary students are able to return/borrow books any day. There are several times throughout the day set aside for students to visit, at the discretion of the classroom teacher. Your child/ren may also be in the library for instruction, either from the library staff or their teachers, depending upon need.

As parents, you are also welcome to borrow from the library collections. The secondary library has a great selection of novels. At the end of the school day (Monday/Tuesday/Thursday from 15:10-16:00) you are welcome to visit with your child/ren and either read at leisure or select books for borrowing together.
