Mission & Motto

The International School of Ulaanbaatar (ISU) is a Pre-school through Grade 12 IB World School. It provides an English language-based programme that supports and promotes the aims and values of the International Baccalaureate (IB).

As an IB World School, ISU “aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect...challenging programmes of international education and rigorous assessment...encourage(ing) students...to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners who understand that other people, with their differences, can also be right.” (IB, 2014)
