Resources
Project members created and collected a range of resources to promote growing public awareness of the history of Japanese Americans in this region and to present opportunities for further research. These include bibliographies of published and archival sources, lesson plans for use in teaching at various classroom levels, new and existing oral history interviews, a collection and analysis of census data, research posters, slide presentations digitized from earlier decades, and one year in the diary of a Pocatello Issei, generously provided by the Shiozawa family.
The bibliography uses the online Zotero tool as a way to maintain a dynamic listing of sources that has wide access and can be amended by future research.
We will continue to add additional items to this resource page, as they come available. If you have suggestions for additions or corrections, please contact project director Dr. Kevin Marsh, marskevi@isu.edu.
