Course Description
As the first European city to move towards zero waste in 2014 and the Green European Capital of 2016, Ljubljana offers a unique blend of expansive natural spaces, pedestrian-friendly streets, and innovative environmental practices, Take part in a walking exploration to discover Ljubljana’s many UNESCO World Heritage Sites and find out more about the cities links to dragons at Ljubljana Castle. Learn about sustainable urban design through visits to an urban bee farm and the botanical gardens. Experience the circular economy in action by going to a local repair cafe and and an upcycling studio to create your own upcycled products.
The Challenge
The challenge of the Ljubljana experience is to is to collect and process material to create an upcycled product.
