Week Without Walls is a five-day programme for Upper School students that involves learning experiences outside of the classroom. Activities will take place both within the borders of the Czech Republic, as well as outside of the country. The learning opportunities provided by the WWW are experiential in nature and offer students experiences that may not be available through the regular school curriculum. They are designed to help students develop their self awareness and self management skills and and further develop relationships and friendships with other students and teachers.
Depending on the experience chosen, the learning outcomes for the week will include two or more of the following:
Identifying strengths and develop areas for growth
Demonstrating that challenges have been undertaken, developing new skills in the process
Showing commitment and perseverance
Demonstrating the skills and recognising the benefits of working collaboratively
Demonstrating engagement with issues of global significance
Recognising and considering the ethics of choices and actions
Developing international-mindedness
Students will have the opportunity to set personal goals before the Week Without Walls and reflect on their experiences during advisory.
