Course Description
Nepal is a land of vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes. This Week Without Walls experience will immerse students in Nepal's unique culture and provide an opportunity to give back through meaningful volunteer work. Highlights include exploring the bustling streets and historical landmarks of Kathmandu, traveling to Sindhuli to engage in hands-on maintenance projects at completed school sites, and teaching English lessons to local students. This journey is not only an adventure but also a chance to make a positive impact on communities in need.
The Challenge
The challenge of this experience lies in completing maintenance work at school projects and teaching English lessons to children in Sindhuli, while also raising funds to support children’s return to safe schools.
This experience counts towards the Activity strand of DP CAS.
