Transportation: By private bus arranged by trip provider
Accommodation: Alpine Huts with Co-ed dormitories - sleeping bag or sleeping bag liner is needed - very basic and simple accommodation
Insurance: Arranged by ISP along with trip provider

Course Description
Embark on an unforgettable adventure through the stunning Dolomites, trekking from one enchanting alpine hut to the next over six glorious days. This adventure begins with a scenic bus ride from Prague to the Sexten Valley in Italy and unfolds with daily hikes between 2 and 6 hours, covering distances of up to 15 km per day. The journey concludes with a descent into Austria’s Winkler Valley, offering breathtaking views and memorable experiences every step of the way.
What you need to know:
Sleeping arrangements will be simple, co-ed dormitory-style rooms shared among hikers staying overnight.
Alpine huts: Dormitory-style accommodations with common toilets and lavatories. Most huts have hot showers available for a small fee (€5/person), though access may be limited during water shortages.
Charging devices: Charging for cameras or mobile phones is not always available in the huts, so bringing a power bank is recommended.
Payment: Extra food and drinks can be purchased at the huts using cash (€). Credit cards may not be accepted.
Internet: Connectivity is limited or minimal in the mountains and huts.
Weather and Packing
Weather in the Dolomites can be unpredictable, so students need to pack appropriately. A detailed provisional packing list is provided below. Each student must bring their own trekking pack, hiking boots, and equipment.
Physical Fitness
No special technical skills are required for this hike, but students should be in good physical condition. Regular aerobic exercise leading up to the trip is recommended to ensure a more enjoyable and safer experience.
The Challenge
The challenge of this experience lies in completing a section of the Dolomites trail, showcasing the dramatic scenery of the Italian Alps while pushing personal boundaries.
