❓ Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is “Try it Out” Week?
A: A week to explore representative athletics before committing.
Q: Can I join late?
A: Yes — but you must get approval from the ASA leader/coach first, then email Raina Smith (rsmith@isp.cz) to confirm.
Q: Do I have to attend the Activities Fair?
A: No, but it’s the best way to learn about activities and ask questions.
Q: Can I join more than one activity?
A: Yes, if the times don’t conflict.
Q: Are there extra fees?
A: Most are included in tuition; any extras will be listed (Mainly for Representative Activities/Athletics, e.g: MathCounts). Check SCIS/CEESA/OtherTrips for more information.
Q: Where do I get updates?
A: Check this page — it’s always the most current.
Q: Where do I get my merch? Where do I buy it and pick it up?
A: Order via eShop, pick up at Main Reception. For exchanges/questions, visit our Activities office.
Q: Why can’t I sign up for ASAs? It’s not working.
A: Make sure you’re signing up with your school email address — personal emails won’t work. Also, the student should be the one signing up (not the parent). If you’re joining a representative sport, then parents should also be involved so they know about the homestay commitment and which week your family is available to host.
Q: I am a new family. How does my child get their ISP email and login details so we can sign up for ASAs?
A: All new students are provided with an ISP email and login by the IT department. Accounts are created during their first days at school and usually take a few days to set up.
👉 If your child has not yet received their login information, please contact the IT Help Desk: helpdesk@isp.cz
