Vocal Competiton

Students will need to register individually March 3, 2025 and April 7, 2025. 

Students need to perform a song of their own choosing live in front of an audience.

They can perform acapella, with a backing track, or an accompanist.

Any middle school student can enter.

Performances should be 3-4 minutes in length. Performances which do not adhere to this duration will not be considered for awards.

Students will get one afternoon to refine their work with a guest artist. They will compete the following afternoon.

Competition dates will be confirmed at the end of February, 2025.

Results will be announced on Friday, May 23, 2025, during the festival celebration performance in the Melawati theatre. The winning singer will be requested to perform their piece.
