Determining MYP grades

To generate MYP grades for semester 2 report cards, teachers

1. analyse very carefully all the evidence of the students performance collected over the course of the entire academic year, paying particular attention to patterns and consistency in the results

2. decide the final levels (0-8) on each criterion (A-D) using the assessment data and professional judgment and record the levels on ManageBac

3. use ManageBac to add the achievement levels (0-8) for the criteria and convert the sum into a grade on a scale 1-7 by using the MYP grade boundaries (same for all subjects):
