About the Event

The Community Project Market Fair is an opportunity for Grade 8 students to put their ideas into action. As part of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) Community Project, students design and carry out actions that address real community needs.

What Happened at the Market Fair?

During the Market Fair, students ran interactive booths, sports activities, cooking lessons, and awareness campaigns. Many groups also organized fundraising activities to support their chosen causes.

Community Engagement

Grade 6 and Grade 7 students participated as community members by visiting booths, joining activities, and learning about the issues the Grade 8 students care about. The event created a lively and meaningful space for collaboration, learning, and community engagement.

Student Action

The Market Fair is not the end of the project but a milestone where students share their actions with the community. Many groups continue their initiatives beyond the event, showing how young people can create positive change through creativity, teamwork, and leadership.
