In this series host Jabril Ashe will teach you the logic behind AI by tracing its history and examining how it’s being used today. We’ll show you how to create some of your own AI systems and share episodes on an area of AI known as machine learning which has skyrocketed in popularity in recent years. AI is everywhere and has the potential to do amazing things in our lives. But there’s also great potential for peril, so it is more important than ever that developers, and users alike, understand AI.

In 2020, UNICEF hosted global consultations with 245 adolescents from Brazil, Chile, South Africa, Sweden and the United States to learn about their views and understanding of AI systems. These workshops provided insights into the draft Policy Guidance on AI for Children, which includes recommendations for child-centred AI. The discussions covered strategies to include and engage children in the development of AI systems and policies.
