Prerequisite: Audition - auditions will take place in the fall of 2025.

Level: Intermediate/ Advanced

Students will develop instrumental skills in the uniquely American art form of Jazz.  Jazz Ensemble students rehearse before school twice a week and receive .5 credit for the full year of study.  Students have the opportunity to explore improvisation and play a variety of styles.  Activities may include playing in a stage band for a dinner and dance, festival participation and periodic public performances.  Students are encouraged to take risks and grow as musicians in jazz.
