What to do?
Print off speech sound cards from Mommy Speech's Website you can find the link on the Articulation Page.
Play any turn taking games with your student. If the game has a die or cards with numbers use them to motivate your student. For example if you are playing war, after you both lay a card down you take turns by saying that many words. If they put down a 5 they say 5 words. If you put down a 6 you say six words. This way the student gets the auditory feedback of you saying the word correctly and they get to practice saying the sound as well. If the game does not have numbers or dice involved like Legos, you can give the student a starting number of pieces to build with and when they want more they need to say 5 words with their sounds in it.
