Simley XC Summer Clinic

For incoming 6th-12th Graders in Inver Grove Heights School District

Purpose: To provide an introduction to runners interested in Simley Cross Country to experience what it is like to be part of our program and gain valuable training before the start of the season in mid-August. 

When:  8:30-10:00 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays @ Simley meeting by the Concession Stand at Spartan Stadium between June 26 through July 21 (No Clinic July 3-7: MSHSL Rule).

Schedule:  8:30-8:40.  Short lecture on training, racing, and health

      8:45-9:45/10:00.  Running workout and strength training

Cost: $40 to cover the clinic cost. Please register by June 20th at the latest.

Athletes cannot participate if they do not sign the waiver and pay the fee.

What to bring: T-shirt, athletic shorts, socks, running shoes, and water.
