The best way to learn Adobe applications is to follow hands-on tutorials. To do that, open the Animate, go to the Help menu, and select the Hands-on Tutorial.

However, be aware that you got to follow instructions really carefully, because the tutorial will disappear off the screen if you click a wrong option (eg: keyboard shortcut).
