Governance

We will maintain stable and effective governance structures and operations based on and model integrity, respect, trust, and accountability. We will also actively and continually demonstrate a commitment to recognized and accepted principles of good practice.

• Benchmark governance against recognized and accepted international school best practices within the context of ISB's history and culture of belonging.

• Implement a program of ongoing professional development for the ISB Board of Trustees to drive and sustain sustainable governance and effective leadership.

• Develop, implement, and nurture appropriate and effective engagement with the community to inform governance activities and establish trust and accountability.

• Ensure that Board development is intentional and deliberate through planned membership, thoughtful recruitment, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
