Culture of Belonging

We will create and sustain a culture of inclusion and belonging that recognizes and celebrates our diversity and ensures that all learners are treated with equity and justice and are supported in making meaningful connections to each other and the world.

• Create a community-wide culture of belonging for every learning by emphasizing, respecting, and celebrating diversity, equity, and inclusion.

• Ensure that all community members understand and intentionally live our core values.

• Ensure our learning environment has space, time, and opportunities for community members to come together - to enrich, inspire, and empower one another and to belong and be connected.

• Recognize, promote, and grow curricula and programs that incorporate diverse perspectives and reflect our community and the communities our learners aspire to serve.

• Provide a variety of opportunities for our learners to engage with one another, Belgrade, Serbia, and our world to establish connections that will support and nurture their educational and personal aspirations, their engagements beyond the walls of ISB, and the positive impacts they will have as changemakers in the world.
