Museum Accessibility and Inclusion
During this Work Package we did a lot of research about museum accessibility. With the help of Professor Margherita Sani, adjunct professor at University of Bologna and project coordinator at NEMO – the Network of European Museum Organisations, we elaborated an accessibility checklist that we later tried out at the most important museum in town: the Civic Museums in Pesaro. Students from Year 2 and 3 of the International Course visited the museum to fully understand how "accessible" and "inclusive" it is. This WP3 presentation sums up all the preliminary work we carried out to become more knowledgable about inclusion and cultural heritage.
