Selection of significant examples of local cultural heritage
Our first task was to choose two works of art that we wanted to focus on. We decided to select the Medusa by Ferruccio Mengaroni because it is the emblem of our school and Giovanni Bellini’s altarpiece as it is the most precious possession of the Civic Museums.

Field trip to local museum
As both artworks are held at the Civic Museums in Pesaro, we headed there for a guided tour to learn more about these two masterpieces of Italian art. Then we summarized what we had learnt and prepared presentations about the artworks we had selected for our first mobility to Agrupamento d’escolas Rafael Bordalo Pinheiro in Caldas Da Rainha, Portugal. We were all really excited, expecially because it was the first time we could travel since the Covid pandemic !
