My Goal: To help your child fly gracefully through the year
Welcome to my class at Antwerp Primary. The advantage of our small quaint school is that we are very family oriented. I have been a teacher here since 1993. I began my teaching career in first grade. I taught that grade for 8 years then switched down to kindergarten. I would never want to teach a different grade. I live in the area with my family of four plus two dogs. My husband is a teacher at the Middle School and my daughter and son are in college. In my spare time I enjoy reading, going for walks, kayaking, and just relaxing with my family.
This class is always fun, nurturing, and relaxing. I encourage the love of learning by creating a positive, loving and engaging learning environment.

Our academic part of the day consists of ELA activities, math, and content. We also have gym, art, music, health, or library each day. The end of the day is recess and snack.
