What books are we highlighting During the Month of March?
Read Across America: Dr. Seuss was an author that wrote great books for kids when not many people were doing so! Enjoy some of his books from the LMC and help celebrate his birthday March 2nd.
Stories in Rhyme: Dr. Seuss was the master at writing stories with rhyme. Why not try other authors that also are great at rhyming too!
World Poetry Day is March 21st: Check out the great selection of poetry that Peterson has to offer! Celebrate World Poetry Day by reading a book of poetry. In most poetry books, you can just select a poem or two to enjoy or read the entire book. You choose.
Going Green: St. Patrick's Day is in the month of March. Why not read a book about something "green" in the world. We have everything from non-fiction books about forests, being 'green' in our world with taking care of the earth, or learning about animals that are endangered. It's important to be 'green' in our world so that we realize we need to take care of what we have.
March Madness -- Sports Fiction: March Madness is all about NCAA basketball tournaments across the USA. Why not read some books about sports of your choice during the month of March. We have both fiction and non-fiction books for your enjoyment. Read fiction books by Jake Maddox, Mike Lupica, or Tim Greene. Try Sports Illustrated for Kids books, and Dan Gutman's Baseball Card Adventure series. Or....read a non-fiction books related to sports. You will find them here!

Think Zone Activities:
All activities are the same. Nothing new is being added during the month of March.
Overdue Books:
You have 2 weeks to enjoy and get through your books. Please be considerate of others and return your books within that time period. Others can then enjoy them too!
Reminders:
Please clean up your space before leaving the LMC. This includes the Think Zone area and any tables, chairs, or stools you may have used. If we all help, it makes the LMC a great place to be!
