MATH2006 Precalculus

Grade 10-12. Prerequisite is Algebra 2 Trigonometry & Statistics and placement.

This one-year course serves as a prerequisite for Calculus or AP Calculus AB. A major emphasis is an extended study of various functions; polynomial, exponential, logarithmic, trigonometric, and their transformations. Students will be introduced to limits and vectors in preparation for a Calculus course. The Math Practice Standards are the foundation of lessons, teaching students how to reason and think mathematically. A graphing calculator is required (TI-84 or equivalent is recommended).

This course will be taught using a flipped classroom model. For more information regarding a flipped classroom, check out this page.

I will use a Google classroom page on occasion for either an in-class assignment or other useful links. Here is a video link to help you navigate through Google classroom.

Use this code to sign in to my Google classroom page; you need to use school email address. You are most likely already enrolled.
