MATH1004H Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry
MATH1004H Honors Algebra 2/Trigonometry
Grade 9-11. Placement required. Weighted Grade.
This course covers the same topics as MATH1004 Algebra 2/Trigonometry & Statistics with greater depth and some additions including sequences and series. Starting with a brief review of some basic axioms and properties in algebra, the course moves quickly to newer topics, integrating real-life applications. The Math Practice Standards are the foundation of lessons, teaching students how to reason and think mathematically. A summer packet of Algebra 1 problems may be required. A graphing calculator is required (TI-84 or equivalent is recommended).
I will use a Google classroom page on occasion for either an in-class assignment or other useful links. Here is a video link to help you navigate through Google classroom.

The CLASSWORK section in Google classroom will contain folders to SMART notes taken in class and answer keys to worksheets/activities we have discussed in class.

Please use the calendars to keep track of assignments, assess your understanding, print handouts (when necessary), get links to learning videos and access other course information.
