Communication of Assignments
Our Daily Agenda for each of my classes is available above. The most recent class date will always come up first..
Due Dates will be posted in the top corner of each day's slide in the Daily Agenda.
Specific Instructions for Assignments can be found in the student's Google Classroom. Please obtain your students log in credentials at the beginning of the year so you can access these important details and class materials.
Students Daily Expectations
✅ Arrive to class on time.
✅ Check Daily Agenda.
✅ Check email Daily.
✅ Be an engaged, active participant at all times.
✅ Use your time wisely!
✅ Turn in all work on time. Due Dates will be posted in the top right corner of our agenda each day.
Other Tips
Please make the time to check StudentVue for your grade and/or missing work on a regular basis.
If you turn in work late, be sure to email me so I know it is ready to be graded. Once I have graded a particular assignment, I will not go back to it unless you less me know that there is a reason to do so.
Questions ??
Please don’t hesitate to email me (maggie_farbisz@ipsd.org) if you have any questions. I keep a close eye on my email throughout the day and evening and will do my best to answer as quickly as possible. Students, I do ask that you please take the time to read your agenda, instructions, and daily posts first. I believe you will find most answers there more quickly. However, you know that I am more than happy to help if you need clarification :-)
Meet the Teacher
My name is Mrs. Farbisz. I have had the pleasure of teaching my entire career here at Hill Middle School. This year marks my 35th year of teaching at our amazing school and I can honestly say I still absolutely love it!
I teach Essential Technology for 6th graders and Creative Technology for 7th graders. I also serve as an Encore team leader. I earned my bachelor's degree in Business Education from Illinois State University and my masters' degree from National Lewis University in Technology Education.
I reside in Batavia with my husband and four children. I enjoy cooking, hanging with friends, and being with my family. The best part of being a teacher is the connections you make with the students.
