Some of you might know me as a First Grade Teacher. I have been at Brooks for 30 years, and am so lucky to be teaching Kindergarten! When I am not at school collaborating with my amazing teammates or preparing lessons for the Kindergarteners, you might find me at home reading, watching movies, or hanging out with Archie, Tilly and Greg...see below. I also enjoy listening to all kinds of music, traveling, taking long walks, spending time with my family (which includes three adult step-children, and one grandson), and visiting Northern Michigan or Lake Geneva with Mr. Toms. Every year at Brooks is a new adventure, and I can't wait to see what this year has in store!
Career Accomplishments:

Co-wrote two books with retired teammate, current Traveling Teacher/ Instructional Consultant, and KPT Classroom Volunteer, Dr. Maria P. Walther
Many former students have contacted me to let me know that they have chosen teaching as their career. Perhaps it's not MY accomplishment, but it's definitely something that makes me feel proud!
