Sensory Garden Playground
In an effort to recognize the growing need to create accessible play for DuPage County children with autism, the Play For All Garden & Playground Foundation was established - a free of charge facility that brings together the benefits of gardens and playgrounds with other necessary amenities in a welcoming, accessible, and safe environment where abilities can be developed and an appreciation for each other’s differences are embraced for all children.
Summer Social Skills Camps and Groups
Social Emotional Learning Kindergarten prep program hosted by the Brooks Elementary School Psychologist, Rachel Cammiso.
Location: Lemont, Illinois
Emotion Explorers: A group for girls ages 8-10 learning to manage school-related and other big feelings
Junior High Social Theatre CBT / Mood Regulation Strategies: 6th to 8th grade children diagnosed with Autism 1, ADHD, and/or anxiety disorders, seeking to improve feelings intensity recognition and coordinating mood regulation strategies
Social CBT: An 8-week group designed to provide a safe and supportive space for boys ages 7–10 to build emotional regulation and peer relationship skills through engaging, hands-on activities.
Sidekicks Sibling Group: Sidekicks is a six-week therapy group designed for children in 3rd through 5th grade to explore their feelings, build coping skills, and connect with others who have similar experiences.
