Library Membership Registration/Renewal
Library Books to the Senior Students (2nd, 3rd, 4th Year & M.A. Final) shall be issued only after they get their Membership renewed. Membership can be renewed on the production of a Renewed College ID. Card/Fee Receipt alongwith Library Membership Card at the Circulation Counter/Library Office.
All freshers can have their Library Membership Card after filling up the online Membership Form through the Library web-OPAC (https://icwopac.lsease.in/home/dashboard) or using QR-Code (may also browse e-service web page) requires to upload Passport size photograph.
In the absence of the College Roll number, please fill in your DU online Admission Form Number. In case of further help, please contact the Library staff available at the Circulation Counter/Library Office. Please bring your College ID and/or Fee Receipt.
Before filling out the membership form, all are advised to read the ‘Library Rules & Regulations' displayed on the Library Notice Board/College/Library Web-portal.

20 जून से 19 जुलाई 2024 तक लाइब्रेरी पुस्तकों के ‘वार्षिक भौतिक सत्यापन’ के दौरान कॉलेज लाइब्रेरी बंद रहेगी। हालाँकि, लाइब्रेरी पुस्तके सर्कुलेशन काउंटर पर वापस की जा सकती है। छात्र और शिक्षक पुस्तकालय के सामने के मुख्य द्वार से पुस्तकालय में प्रवेश कर सकते हैं, और पुस्तके वापस कर सकते हैं। चूँकि सभी पुस्तकालय कर्मचारियों को स्टॉक जाँच का कार्य सौंपा गया है, इसलिए अन्य पुस्तकालय सेवाएँ प्रभावित हो सकती हैं। किसी भी प्रश्न या आवश्यकता के मामले में, कृपया लाइब्रेरियन से संपर्क करने में संकोच न करें |
College Library will remain closed during the ‘Annual Physical Verification’ of Library Books from 20th June to 19 July 2024. However, Library Book may be return on the circulation counter. Students and teachers may enter the library from the Front Main Gate of the Library, and returned the library books. Since all library staff assigned the stock checking task, so other Library Services may be affected. In case of any queries, or requirement please don’t hesitate to contact the Librarian.

Library Membership Registration/Renewal

This is to inform all colleagues and students that as per DU Office Order Ref. No Estab.II(i)/330/COVID-19/M/2020/ 1654 dated 5th August 2021, in respect of fully functional of the University and Colleges, the College Library is fully functional on all working days as per the following standard operating procedures in view of COVID-19.
All Library users are required to follow these SOPs while availing the Library Services:
1. Timing of Library Services: 10.00 am to 1.00 pm & 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm
2. Working Days: Monday to Friday (except Gazetted Holidays, if any)
3. Library User-Limit: Only 20 students/Users are permitted at a time in the Library. The other will allow to wait in the Property Counter Hall.
4. Library staff will keep all records for the perusal of the College.
5. Please note that “No Entry without Wearing MASK’. Students are advised to leave the college campus immediately after the issue or return of library books.
6. Library Users will return the library books on the Circulation Counter by maintaining social distancing as per MHA Guidelines.
7. The returned library books will be kept on the Book – Trolley and the next day after sanitizing will be shelved back in the Stack – Room by the concerned library staff.
8. For borrowing the library books, the students and other users are required to renew their Library Membership Card.
9. For renewal of library membership students will be required to send ‘Fee-Receipt’ (downloaded from the College web-portal) along with the scan copy of Library Membership Card on the dedicated email Id –ipcollegelibrary@gmail.com
(Please don’t send on other email Id of the College/Library staff)
10. Students may also renew library membership from the circulation counter while they visit the library.
11. Students may contact the Library Office for new membership or send their request on the email Id- –ipcollegelibrary@gmail.com
12. Temp./Adhoc/Guest/Contractual Teachers are required to submit their request for new membership or renewal of membership routed through TICs for availing of the Library services.
13. For the issue of ‘NO DUE/Library Clearance Certificate’ students may send their request on the email Id –ipcollegelibrary@gmail.com
14. For availing e-Library-services please visit the Library web portal on 'e-Services' link https://sites.google.com/ip.du.ac.in/libraryipcw/e-services
15. The Library's online OPAC is accessible from anywhere on campus through the College Wi-Fi, this may be accessed from mobile phones as well.
16. Previous year Questions papers of University Examination is accessible in the library link https://sites.google.com/ip.du.ac.in/libraryipcw/reference

4. Only permitted Library users may visit the Library. Please note that 'No Entry without wearing MASK'

The Library Orientation has two components:
i. PPT & ii. Guided walk through the library.
The TICs and/or Library representatives of Departments are requested to accompany their students. After the Library Orientation, Five Senior students of the respective departments will escort the First-year Students to Museum and Archives Learning Resource Center.
