To apply robotics and programming concepts to create a festive, interactive robot.
To foster creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
To integrate cultural understanding and holiday traditions into the project.
Students will design, build, and program the Intelligence Storm robot that performs a specific holiday-themed task
This holiday season, we embark on a creative journey that merges the joy of festivities with the excitement of robotics. By combining ZMROBO Intelligence Storm and programming using RoboCode 4.0, you'll design, build, and program your own unique holiday-themed robot. Whether it's a Christmas-themed robot that delivers presents or a Halloween-themed robot that tells spooky stories, the possibilities are endless. Through this hands-on experience, you'll not only learn valuable STEM skills but also celebrate the spirit of the holiday season.
Halloween is celebrated on October 31st every year.
It's a time when people, especially kids, dress up in costumes like ghosts, superheroes, animals, or characters from stories.
They go door-to-door, saying "trick-or-treat" to collect candy from neighbors! Many homes have jack-o'-lanterns (pumpkins carved with funny or scary faces), and some people like to tell spooky stories.
Halloween is all about having fun, dressing up, and enjoying treats with friends and family.
Christmas is celebrated on December 25th and is a holiday.
People decorate their homes with Christmas trees, lights, and ornaments. Children love Christmas because of Santa Claus, a jolly man who, according to legend, brings gifts to children around the world on Christmas Eve!
Families come together to exchange gifts, sing carols, and enjoy special meals. It’s a holiday about giving, sharing, and spending time with loved ones.
Chinese New Year, also known as Spring Festival, is the biggest holiday in China and other Asian countries.
It celebrates the start of the Lunar New Year and usually happens between late January and early February.
Each year is named after one of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac (like the Year of the Dragon or Tiger).
People clean their homes to bring good luck, hang red decorations, give red envelopes with money as gifts, and enjoy fireworks.
There are lion and dragon dances to bring joy and drive away bad luck. CNY is all about family, tradition, and hoping for a wonderful year ahead.

Brainstorming is when we think of as many ideas as possible. In this step, everyone shares thoughts about what they want to create, how it might work, and why it could be helpful or fun. There are no “bad ideas” in brainstorming! It’s like a big “idea soup” where all ideas go in, and we see which ones we like the most.
Prototyping is where we start to build a simple version of our idea. Think of it as a “rough draft” in building. We use Intellogence Storm set to create a model that shows what our idea could look like and how it might work. Prototyping helps us test ideas and solve problems before making a final version.
Programming is when we write the instructions (code) that tell our robot what to do. Imagine it’s like giving step-by-step directions! For example, if we’re making a dancing robot, programming would include telling it when to move, stop, or turn. Programming makes our creation come to life and do what we want it to do.

Showcasing is when we present our finished project to others. It’s our time to explain what we made, why we made it, and how it works. We might give a demonstration, show our prototype, or share any cool features we programmed. It’s a chance to be proud of our hard work and share it with others!
