We worked on a project to make several water towers, one in 3D and the other in handcraft. We have also done a presentation where we had to explain some information about the water towers. Finally, we created two documents, one was to write what we did every day, the other was to write some information about water towers. Finally, we did an exhibition with our towers and visited the real towers in an outdoor trip.

Apart from learning to work in a team, we have learnt to do hard work in a short time, we have learned from our mistakes and to do a clean and well-done job with a lot of effort.
Albert has helped us to learn how to transfer the real sizes to the paper and Gema has helped us to practice and use the English language.
This project has helped us a lot when making crafts, we have learnt a lot of things about water towers, like when they were made, why, where they are, what they are used for etc. We have also improved our attitude and presentation, paid more attention to details and practised a lot.
By reading the text about the water towers in Mataró, we learned about their history, architecture, and rehabilitation. These towers, built in the mid-19th century by Jeroni Boada, distributed water until the 1960s. One of the towers is located at the Muralla dels Genovesos and was restored in 1987. There is also a notable tower at the Escorxador, which contains a deep well and was rehabilitated to become a public library between 2010 and 2013. We discovered that these towers are important both for maintaining water pressure and for their heritage and architectural value.
