He first gained fame as an actor on the Canadian teen drama "Degrassi: The Next Generation," and later transitioned to music with the release of his mixtape "So Far Gone" in 2009. Drake has since released several successful albums, including "Take Care," "Nothing Was the Same," and "Scorpion," and has become one of the biggest and most successful artists in the world. He is known for his emotional and introspective lyrics, and has won numerous awards including four Grammy Awards.
