Reflection
When I made my holiday track, I learned how much detail goes into producing music, not just listening to it. The track has a jingle and bass which was hard to mix, and once I started layering sounds, I realized how important timing and balance are. At first, it was kind of hard to make everything fit, but after messing around with it, the song started to come together. The jingle bass made the track feel festive and upbeat, which was my goal. Hearing it actually sound good was really satisfying.
I also learned how to adjust volume, effects, and transitions so nothing sounded messy. Small changes made a big difference in how clean and smooth the track felt. I paid attention to how the bass hit and how the melody sat on top of it so it didn’t overpower anything. After listening to it over and over, I started to understand how producers shape a song’s vibe. Overall, making this holiday track showed me how creative music production can be and how good it feels to build something from scratch.
